Eric is is the Lawrence and Charlotte Hoover Professor of Pastoral Care at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY and the founding director of the Society of Christian Psychologists. Prior to joining SBTS, he taught courses in psychology, theology, and Christian worldview at Northwestern College in Minnesota for nine years. He has contributed to numerous articles in the field of Christian psychology, arguing for the necessity of theology in counseling and psychological research. He is an associate editor of the Journal of Psychology and Theology and was editor for a special issue of the Journal of Psychology and Christianity in 1998, entitled “Psychology within the Christian Tradition.” He has authored articles for the Baker Encyclopedia of Psychology and Counseling and has written and edited many books, including: Christianity and Psychology: Five Views, God Under Fire: Modern Scholarship Reinvents God, and Soul Care: A Christian Psychology Proposal.

Mark is a professor and director of faith integration in the Graduate Department of Clinical Psychology at George Fox University. He is also the former president of APA's Division 36, Society for the Psychology of Religion and Spirituality. Mark received his undergraduate degree from Lewis and Clark College and a doctorate in clinical psychology from Vanderbilt University. Mark taught at George Fox from 1984 to 1993 before leaving to help start the Psy.D. program at Wheaton College, where he later assumed an endowed chair position in the integration of psychology and Christianity. He later returned to George Fox in 2006 where he is serving currently. Mark is a licensed psychologist, author of various trade books, professional books, journal articles and book chapters. His current research interests include the integration of psychology and Christianity, positive psychology, and technology in psychology practice. Mark also writes software, including apps for mobile devices. He is married to Lisa Graham McMinn, a sociologist, speaker and writer. They both run a small community supported agriculture farm where they use sustainable farming practices to grow fruit and vegetables, tend chickens, and keep honeybees.

Ed is a counselor and faculty member at the Christian Counseling and Education Foundation (CCEF). He earned a Ph.D. in counseling (neuropsychology) from the University of Utah and has a Master of Divinity degree from Biblical Theological Seminary. Ed has been counseling for over thirty years and has written many books and articles on biblical counseling, including When People Are Big and God Is Small; Addictions: A Banquet in the Grave; Blame It on the Brain?; Depression; Running Scared; Shame Interrupted; and Side by Side: Walking with Others in Wisdom and Love. He and his wife, Sheri, have two married daughters and eight grandchildren. In his spare time, Ed enjoys spending time with his wife and extended family and playing his guitar.
